It is absolutely amazing to me that such a prosecution could have even been possible in this country today.

I am glad the charges were dropped.

Thanks for sending that link. I saw a note about that scroll by on the news. I used to live over near that area growing up - sorta. Johnson County is an adjacent rural county west of Dallas/Ft Worth.

That whole area up to Wichita Falls has a lot of Politically Correct Evangelicals. Think of Peyton Place. Or a good book to read that gets into the mindset of the area is The Last Picture Show by Larry McMurtry.

Does make you wonder how much of the tax payers money was wasted on this though when there are mre important things still needing solving across the States :(
