How Do You Handle Exit Traffic?

Just wondered about how everyone here handled their exit traffic from their free, aen and paysites?

Do you have a specific method of monetizing this traffic or do you just put links up to programs that you can generally convert if they were the 'actual' focus of the sites you build?

Have you found any specific method to work best so far as what type of site and / or promotion you use on your exits?
