Bureaucracy

You know, sometimes bureaucracy is a bitch. I work part time at my university and I've been there since August.

We get paid on the 15th and 30th/31st of each month. However, I didn't get paid for this last cycle. It turns out that my department forgot to file a form to register me as an employee for the new fiscal year, so rather than anyone in payroll telling me, they just didn't pay me. :D

So to get it fixed out department had to do my form along with a memo requesting my paycheck. Then I had to walk it across campus to 8 different offices in different buildings for signatures.

Sorry for venting, but that wasn't fun in 96 degree weather. Urgh. :)

See i would have taken a cab from building to building then invoiced it to them LOL
