I'm trying to find a nice, cheap computer to replace my old one. This seems to be the best deal I can find:

Does it look like a good deal? Does anyone know of a better place to get a really cheap but decent computer?
For a couple hundred dollars more you should be able to get a new P4 from Compaq/HP or Dell. The HD on the computer you linked to is tiny... I'd fill that in a month or less.

Still way too far over my budget. I'll be saving for a long time to get one for 200-300.
I'd rather have a small hard drive than go half a year without a computer, so I have to get something really, really cheap.
Ive had awesome luck buying used/refurbished computers from HP. They sell them on their site. I've bot 2 desktops and my laptop all used from them with zero problems.
Here's a good place to take a look and see if you can get an even better deal.
They sell on eBay...we are able to go right to their store and pick the things up.

We've bought 4 puters from them (Mac power pc g4, 2 IBM's and a HP) Never had any trouble with any of them....very decent people to work with too.
Also, if you ever need any accessories, cables or whatever, go here...

Oh, I forgot to say...it does look like a good deal though. And their feedback on eBay looks darn good for so many transactions too.

It doesn't look like the place I recommended has any as good as that, right now anyway...I'd say go for it, unless you're in no hurry.
I hate shopping for puters....Monday morning quarter backing is what I do when I make a major purchase...lol
