I'm in business today

ccBill finally approved my site, and I tested its access and credit card processing today. Thanks to the advice from Dzinerbear, Basschick, and others, I'm only charging $20 for access for all the drawings (non-renewable). Thanks to everyone who has given me advice so far, even the people who didn't like my drawings.

Based on how good a job you did scaring me, I don't expect to sell very many drawings. :-)

So today I submitted my site to Google and to The Open Directory (http://dmoz.org/). I also added a link from my other, free website about film (http://www.movieswithmalebondage.com).

After this, it seems I will have to pay for inclusion in the search engines. The cheapest and most cost-effective way appears to be Overture.

Now I will *really* know if people actually like my art. Scary.

if you have good keywords and text on your site, i recommend you spend $75 for a paid inclusion to enhance.com (used to be ah-ha).

And by the way, Yahoo found me. According to the statistics from my free website, I just found out that somebody searched for "movieswithmalebondage" and Yahoo took them to my free site. And since there is a link there to my pay site, www.gaybondageart.com, it's just a matter of time before Yahoo finds that one, too. I'm ecstatic. :-D

I just found out that I made two sales. One of them does not count since I "PayPaled" $20 to a friend so he could test my site with his Windows machine (I have a Mac). The other one, however, is a "real" sale. That's a good start. :-)
