Im guessing that your no1 most requested area is the hardcore video. Then the softcore video> Then the images.
Have you found that it's even worth it to use images within the site and have to maintain all of them when the customers want movies?
yes, my members DO look at the pics... not only at pics from each shoot, which i provide a link to on each video menu, but also at pics we don't have videos for.
I'll second Bassgirl on that motion.
The way our sites are structured and with the addition of new model shoots each week our pic galleries are JUST as visited as the videos.
Interesting, our softcore videos are more downloaded that the hardcore... I think that is more about the quality of our models than anything else.

Strange.. my customers don't care about the galleries.. the lowest traffic area of my site are the galleries. They go straight for the video and eat it up live ravenous dogs! :-D
If we don't update new pictures 2 times per week we get emails asking where they are and why we've not put up anything new. So, the answer is YES, they do.
We have only just started to watch more closely the members on our sites surfing habits once they get inside the aysites themselves however, initially i would have to say most of our members go right to the feeds / movie sections.
