search engine news

Two big news items on search engines:

1) the guy that invented overture has just come out with a new search engine http://www.snap.com/ - it is supposed to be innovative insofar as it is designed to give end users more direct control over their own results. This is the start to localized searches!

2) MS has just released a new preview of their new MSN search engine, check it out at http://techpreview.search.msn.com/ - MSN is an up-and-coming search engine that is likely to have a MAJOR impact on searching once it is fully integrated into i.e. browsers.

As I have said before, its important to look at what is coming out and embrace these new engines, if you can get on a top position you will be able to ride the wave for months if not years.

I think it's pretty cool! I posted some links and did some search's.

The cool part is you can upload a logo for your site. Just wonder how much spam you'll get from doing it.

I would say their off. I did a search for "gay sex" and "New Page 1" (http://www.gaysexshop.co.uk) comes up #2.

Nothing there other then a picture and coming soon.
