Insanity defense possible in Siegfried & Roy shooting

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (AP) -- A former National Football League player accused of firing shots into the compound of Siegfried & Roy may seek an insanity defense, his attorney said Friday.

"It's clear his mental state is an issue," public defender Daren Richards said after Cole Murdoch Ford's initial court appearance in the drive-by shooting on September 21.

He had been sought after being identified as the owner of a white minivan from which shots were fired at the compound owned by entertainers Siegfried Fischbacher and Roy Horn. No one was hurt, but police said shotgun pellets shattered windows and left a hole in a wall.

I never even heard this happened! I might get shot but I think this Siegfriend & Roy are freaks. Yes they are gay etc etc etc. But they are freaks, but that doesn't mean it's ok to fucking shoot bullets into their house! My .00002cent.

Guess the media coverage about that tiger incident was all the press they will be getting for another few months ;)
