apparantly, the chance of getting struck by lightning is 1 in 6 million, yet the other day my house got struck....killed my new laptop, my desktop plus my broadband, phone lines, satellite, tv, etc, etc....
thus the reason I have not been around much recently, I think with me hitting odds like that I am going to have to play the lotto!

we had a tree in the backyard where i used to live that was struck twice during the year and a half we lived there.
i guess that tree liked bucking the odds!

Sorry to hear about that. However, I believe that the odds are 1 in 600,000 instead of 6 million.
Don't know if I'd bet the farm on the lottery though; considering that the chance of being struck more than once is 1 in 360,000,000,000 (360 billion).
