Vegas is Overwhelming me
Hey everyone
Are people going to Internext AND to the Jan 6-9 AVN Expo as well? Am I missing out if I do not go to the AVN Expo? I see on the AVN Expo site that there are a lot of movie studios I work with going to have a booth there. I guess they will not be at Internext, so I figure it would be worth it for me to stay.
I've never been to Vegas, so I'm in the dark here. Is there a monorail at the Mandalay Bay? So I can stay at a hotel five addresses down then? Is there a good one that is a more on a decent budget?
Thanks
Steve

Simple rule of thumb when considering what to do in Vegas is this..
Are you more concerned with internet related business or offline related business?
If you want to make business contacts online then do Internext.
If you want to make business contacts offline then do AVN (which is more surfer orientated).

Lee

You and I are in the same boat in that we both want to meet webmasters as well as studios.
I recommend staying an extra day (not a half day, a whole day) to see the video show. Since this is the first time they are having a separate gay video show, I think it will be worth it.
Besides, Thursday night is Hustlaball ( http://www.hustlaball.com/ ) featuring Zeb Atlas. You wouldn't want to miss that, would you?
Contact me off line for hotel suggestions. I've been to Vegas a dozen times.
P.S. I'm putting together a daytime event that will blow everyone away!

Hey Steve,
The gay turn-out at AVN was really small last year and I hear that it may well be smaller this year. However, if you've never been it's definitely worth checking out. You won't need the full 3 days though. I can usually get what I need in 1 day. The mornings are reserved for trade and the afternoons are consumer and if you respect your sanity get the hell out before the consumers arrive!
