2004 - The Year That Was

So with 5 days remaining until the end of 2004 i thought it would be a cool idea to take a look back over the year and see what significant thing happened in the real world and in the industry.

I think fo rme the most memorable part of 2004 was all the hurricanes we had in Florida.

Also in the industry the most memorably part of the year was when several of the sponsors drastically changed their business model, ARS dropped all of their sites and re-launched their entire program in effect with newer ones and FatPockets closed their program.

So what were the most memorable parts of 2004 for the rest of you?
