U.S. District Judge Gary Lancaster dismissed obscenity charges against two Californians operating a "horror-porn" Web and mail video business.
Oops. The mullahs of morality in the Justice Department had cherry-picked "conservative" Pittsburgh, and not the "liberal" Left Coast, for their crusade against filthy films.

As Judge Lancaster wears the robe of the civil judiciary, he is obliged to follow a limited law while also limiting his ruling to this case.

To those who believe porn is a scourge on the soul, we offer the policy of moral suasion -- the only way free people can attend to private matters of thought and expression.

Between this case and the recent dismisal of the Extreme Associates case it looks like all is well for the freedom of expression in the U.S.

I think this IS talking about the Extreme Associates case.

It will be interesting to see if the government decides to appeal, and what happens down that road if they do.

Yeah it is and VERY cleverly disguised.. as they are depicted as doing "horror porn" not rape fantasy porn. and the name Extreme Associates isn't even mentioned. lol
