Durst sues sites linking to sex video

MARCH 4--One week after a sex video starring Fred Durst began circulating on the Internet, the Limp Bizkit front man has filed a $80 million lawsuit against web sites that posted the footage and stills from the singer's X-rated romp with a former girlfriend. FULL STORY

Reading the full article it seems pretty obvious he had some sort of plans with this guy to do a Pamela Anderson kind of thing.. what do you guys think?

Does it make sense to sue sites that linked to the footage and posted the pictures?

I guess he's trying to jump on this is a big way in a hurry to try and prevent a repeat of the Pamela Anderson / Tommy Lee tape. If he goes big initially and sues everyone, he's sending a very strong message: Don't fuck with me.

I think it's a great album, and I definately give him props for the serious tone of the album. It's nice to see a band with such huge mainstream success put out an album that isn't an obvious attempt to appeal to the lowest common denominator and make the band richer.
