Would You Promote HTML (Text Heavy ) Only Tours?

Just curious to see whether that is something you folks would promote?

Plain HTML based tours with thumbnailed images like a 'reality' style tour?

Your thoughts?

I would, easier load time, quicker and besides, it's what I use... I think a good mix of pics & text can and does sell, imho, better... but's not easy to get the right balance of text to pics...

just my thoughts anyhow

Its funny i was just talking about this with one of my friends that is a good consumer who joins paysites alot lol. I asked him if he liked loading busy pages or not so busy and if he got frustrated. He's got high speed so he doesnt care he said as long as "the guys were hot" apparently he doesnt even pay attention 2 the text or any words. He said he gets annoyed though if there's a big paragraph of text that he doesnt care 4. So he decides quick if he will join the site based on the hot guys on the cover.

I think a simple tour would sell. I spoke to a friend about this a while back and his site is 95% html and images and he sells well. Granted he does spend a lot of time posting galleries and has TONS of content.

But like Ian said, it's hard to find the right mix of text and images.
