Push-To-Talk

Does anyone use the "Push-To-Talk" option on ICQ? Seems rather useless to me.

Yeah, push-to-talk seems like a ghetto version of VOIP. Vonage is only $24.95 / month.......

(My apologies in advance to anyone on here that actually lives in a ghetto that may have been offended by this analogy.)

Gave up trying to use the "phone" options with icq and aim - and got Skype ... definately a much better service!

Wasn't that because we couldn't get them to work no matter how hard we tried?

Then andymike introduced me to skype and life was so much simpler.

Yep ... we couldn't get a connection with the other 2 that was worth anything.
