If the heat gets a little too hot in the kitchen, and community sentiment runs against the admin's stated position, some cowardly admins just run the other way and delete the thread rather than perhaps being the bigger person and owning up to the mistake...

More than PR, I think a copy of "how to win friends and influence people" would be in order... Honestly, at this point, I really don't understand why people are sticking around. There was no apology over the last flap, none forthcoming from this one, and people continue to get banned on a whim.
One thing I've learned... karma is absolute, and a lot is being created here.

The only thing deleting the thread does remedy is the request that was made in the thread, itself.
