In another article, linked from yours, concerning the lawsuit with his former model, I read the following and laughed...
"Acting cautiously, Cobra undertook a significant expense to remove any films featuring Lockhart when he was underage, causing an economic loss, the suit states."
I'm not quite sure what expense he incurred, however, they never seemed to pay us for the case of his videos we have in our warehouse sealed and marked "for attorney review" that we had to pull from our shelves as a result of all this. Neither his company, nor his distributor seemed in any way agreeable to refunding our money paid for these videos.
Yah, that's really funny because Cobra never instructed the distributor (Pacific Sun, who used to be our distributor) to remove the titles at all. Interesting how history gets rewritten in legal actions, and I think it totally sucks how Cobra never did anything to compensate its retailers. Regardless of whether or not they believed the content contained CP, the logical thing to do, from a business perspective, would have been for Cobra to provide it distributor and retailers with equivalent titles that were not suspect and to hold onto the suspect materials until the claim was either proved or disproved.
I dont know about you guys, but this WHOLE thing scares the shit out of me.
I guess when you deal worldwide, and run a company on the internet you are in contact with MANY people, whether you know it or not.
Leading a normal life in a small town would not put you at as much risk.
Really makes you think what a sick world we are all in.
How about when you have your information posted on every site via 2257 and the pissed off dad to one of your models comes looking for you.
;)

Nice guy. :thumbsdown:Quote:
The boy told authorities that he met Kocis in a gay Internet chat room. Kocis took the boy to his home in May and early June 2001, where they engaged in sexual acts that Kocis videotaped, according to court records.
All of the charges were dropped except for a single count of sexual abuse of children. Kocis was sentenced in May 2002 to one year probation.
I'm sure someone like that has more than a few enemies.
LOL I do not think he would want to come to my house :pirate: I could not tell you how easy a human would be to hit as a target that is, if your good at squirrel hunting with a 22 then some 5ft 9in guy is FUCKED.
I only went squirrel hunting as a kid before you get pissed off
A lot of these stories portray Bryan as the "feel good victim" by the writers. As if his murder has cleansed the community of an evil man.
The US media on all levels has a method of skewing stories by leaving out inconvenient facts that could lessen the impact of their points. You'll notice that some writers include that the minor provided fake ID and then refused to testify in court, but others just imply that the murder victim trolled chatrooms for teen boys.
I didn't know the guy, but there's no reason he should get two hatchet jobs. One from the murderer and one from the media.
Hell NO, but I always made sure I gave it to someone that would. That goes for every thing else too (doves, rabbits, quail, deer, duck, goose, havalina) I only eat Cow, Chicken, and Pig . :bullcrap: :chicken: :jasun: maybe some Tuna
We always made sure to give them to someone that would eat what we shot, to tell the truth that was never really hard. A lot of people or people in the back woods will eat stuff like that, as I remember some where really happy about it. :bunny:
When 2257 was changed we all said that one day something like this would happen. It's idiotic to post even you actual office address much less your home address. Their are just way too many nuts in the world.
Perhaps the Justice Department will listen now to what we all have been saying...but then, my guess is they don't give a shit what happens to some ol' "pornographer".
They's find out how did this and they will prosecute cause it's their job, but I doubt their heart is in it.

First off, no one deserves such an ending. Especially with regards to family and friends he left behind, it's a tragedy for them to lose a loved one in such a manner. That being said, however, this man seemed to be uniquely adept at breeding himself enemies. I was shocked to read about his death, yet not surprised, as crazy as that sounds.
I agree with Brian's comments. As much as I woudl haev problems with anyone accused of having questionable ethics, I would never wish on anyone to go through what he must have experienced while being stabbed.
Sometimes karma does adjust, but perhaps (for those who believe in reincarnation) he'd simply gained all of the lessons and insights he needed to have in the current life, and dying this way was part of that experience. (Sorry if I'm getting too "new age" for people here...)
I disagree. There are a select few types of criminals whos crimes deserve a violant and painful death fitting of the harm they've done to their victims, and victims families.
Good riddance!
I've never known or dealt with this guy but with all the awful he was a part of seems he got what he deserved
No one deserves what happend to Bryan. I knew Bryan for 4 years and he was always good to deal with. He made some mistakes, the Brent Corrigan thing wasn't one of them.....Corrigan used a fake ID. That could happen to any of us.
He did get involved with a 15 year old...certainly should not have done that, but the end result in that matter was basically a slap on the hand. He was not convicted of a crime that even involved having to register as a sex offender. The kid lied about his age, they had sex, Bryan should have been more cautious certainly, but doubtful the kid was harmed. I think many of us know kids that are that age, don't look it and can come on pretty strong.
Bryan made his mistakes, but as I said, no one deserves to be murdered like that. Shame on you for even saying it.
Bill
I have to disagree with you there. Bryan never saw an actual ID prior to the first shoot; he relied on an emailed copy of a photoshopped birth certificate and drivers license. Later, Corrigan provided a fake ID that was apparently quite convincing.
Yes, any of us, particularly those, like Gaybucks, who shoot models who are 18 or 19, could have a model provide falsified identification. But an ethical studio would have immediately taken all steps to get government verification if there was any question, and pull any content if the age of the model could not be verified to be over 18 at time of filming.
That's the big difference.
On that point, we are in complete agreement.Quote:

Unfortunately you give adult Gay webmasters/producers less credit then they deserve.
We are not stupid enough to believe that this dead guy "bryan" just happened to come across two underage guys over a few years period of time who just happened to dupe him into believing they were of age, one of them later suing him, and then he just happened to accidently fuck over the distributors of his videos... all of this from an ethical above board porn producer... yeah right.
If it smells like shit, looks like shit and tastes like shit, it's shit.
This is almost as bad as those producers you hear about fucking models during free auditions then not calling them back for work :bunny:
It really sucks someone was stabbed to death and burned, possibly alive. Unfortunately for "bryan" he has a very bad track record, and those were only the times he got caught out! If you're fucking people over, and get murdered, you'll be talked about the same way in these forums in the future. It's a fact of life. Do the right thing :pimp:
There is no shame in truth, only in denial
It's easy to sit far away from where it happened and talk about someone you didn't really know and say they "got what they deserved", but this is real, and he was a real person, and what he underwent must have been terrible. and the thought of it must be terrible for his family to live with as well.
I guess I'm saying is, although many may not have liked Bryan, let's not speak ill of the dead, it's bad form.
Who are you to tell me what's easy for me to do? You think it's easy to go against the grain and say what I feel instead of what everyone else is saying publicly?
"bryan" had no defence wounds. He was likely asleep drunk, possibly stoned, when killed. Are you even reading the news reports?
It's not in good form to speak ill of the dead? OK sadaam, hitler, pedos, serial killers.... the list goes on, fuck em all
True, it's not easy to speak your mind, and i give you credit for that. I just meant that you didn't know him, and you're acting like you did. I absolutely share your anger at the crimes he (probably) committed and got away with, I just can't make that jump to say that he should be brutally murdered for it. Locked up, given treatment, harshly prosecuted, yes. but stabbed 28 times? c'mon now.
Anyway, locked up for a few years as a convicted **** would probably be WAY worse than being killed, once everyone finds out what you're there for...THAT would be a punishment I could agree with...
Perhaps you know that I didn't know him because I already said in this forum "I've never known or dealt with this guy but with all the awful he was a part of seems he got what he deserved". I have no idea where you're getting the impression that I'm acting like I knew this guy. You are way off  My viewpoints are drawn on actual past facts and the proven history of this guy, nothing more, nothing less.
We differ in opinion. Police reports say there were no defense wounds and alcohol was involved, his body was found on the couch. Seems he was passed out and didn't know what hit him, or, he would have, defended himself. So brutal murder NO, overkill, possibly. As a parent of a teenager I can easily associate the rage a parent, or someone close, to a young teenager would have in finding the child they spent their life sacrificing for was fucked over by a **** pornographer trying to make a buck on their kids innocence.
Solitary for a few years as opposed to a lifetime of pain for multiple victims and their families... somehow that doesn't compute and seems very mild and favoring the criminal over those injured. But luckily this guy's dead and we don't have to worry about millions in tax payers money to defend him, keep him in jail, then monitor him on parole for years after release. He's dead. Quick and easy. No dramas. Next
I actually cried when I first found about about Bryan being murdered. I considered him a very close friend in the industry and had known him for 8 years now.
Anyone who actually has the fucking nerve to sit here on their high horse and judge ANYONE after they are dead should be ashamed of themselves. I find it fucking sickening of all of you who didn't even KNOW HIM passing judgement. It's so easy to read an article or listen to the cute little model and think of how evil he must be. It's in the news, it's gotta be true... that little twink is cute and told me a story, it's gotta be true.
Fuck you and your ignorance!
Knowing the dead guy is separate from knowing what he did to others.
Sitting there on your high horse and judging the dead guy as being such a wonderful person because he was your "very close friend" for so many years and "did things for you" is just ignorant.
And you sit there on your high horse judging other people who don't share your views as being "ignorant" "ashamed" and "passing judgement" when in fact you have the nerve to ridicule and pass judgement on people you don't even know, simply because they don't share your views, a little bit ironic, don't you think? A little too ironic, yeah I really do think. :bunny:
My God guys...a human being was MURDERED! That person was also a member of our community - the adult porn industry. What kind of person he was doesn't matter - he was one of us and was MURDERED. We should at least allow him to rest in peace.
Squirt,
Iit is also likely that he had a meeting scheuled with the attacker(s), and the police are thinking at least two people.....one talked to him as they face each other and perhaps the other attacker went to the bathroom or kitchen or whatever, and snuck up on him and cut his throat. The news report indicated that the autopsy showed that he was nearly decapitated. He would have died almost immediately and if the knife cut the spinal cord he would have been paralyzed immediately, thus eliminating any defense wounds. This was obviously done by somebody(s) that knew him and most likely hated him. Or, at least one of the attackers hated him enough to kill him in a most personal and brutal way.
I'm guessing, like most everyone is, we probably know who was behind this...but, let's not jump to conclusions and wait and see how this plays out.

Read the latest news:

Seems that two men....Sean Lockheart and Grant, supposedly Sean's current lover, have new about the slaying but don't want to talk with the police legal represntation. Can't blame that for that, especially if they have something to hide and have admitted to being there that night.
This is all according to their attorney in California so say the latest news article.

Strange this influx of support for this guy via three new members to GWW, two of which have existed for a day, or two, only, the other less then a month.. all with less then 20 posts. I don't see how you see him as a member of OUR community. He obviously is a member of your community, wherever you come from.
People who we've supported as a community have been found, and convicted, to be pedos and criminals in the past and have been banned from our community.
He's dead! The only people not resting in peace are his victims and their families. His victims and their families will live the rest of their life with the memory of what he's done to them.
Your perspective of who deserves our compassion is grossy askew.
