Logo TV - Will You Be Getting It?

ok, but half price is what?

19.99 to get your equiptment, and then you pay a monthly fee.. what is it that you're paying and what do you get for that?

There are 3 different packages. Here is the comparison.

I have cablevision now and I pay around $125 for everything, DTV will even save me money. The only thing I am going to really miss is my ondemand. I could get a DTV Tivo box for an extra $4.95, but I don't have a landline phone so I can't use it. Oh well.

you still have to pay for the TV guide with DirecTV, it's $4.99 or something like this.

But yes satellite is cheaper than cable

It's funny because the LOGO website still says it will not be on Directv, but on the Directv website they do have it listed in their on-line program guide as Channel 263 like you said... I'll be looking for it tomorrow to be added to my channel line up.

I've had Directv for about a year now, and I love it. It is much better than Comcast cable, cheaper, more reliable, and has more stations.... I'm sure if you are a big TV watcher, you'll love it too!

This is funny... The other day I sent an e-mail to LOGO asking if it would be on Directv... and just 30 seconds after my last post, I got their "generic" response back that was of no help since their website is apparently not up to date...

Just 30 mins ago LOGO and Cablevision inked a deal. Cablevision will carry LOGO on Chan 179. You must have io digital cable to get it. This service will launch tommorrow, June 30th, at 6pm.

I tried last night to add it to my Directv "favorite channels" list, but it didn't show it as available, it just skipped over that number. Maybe since it doesn't debut until tonight I was unable to last night. I'll check tonight again after work and hope it is there!

According to an interview I heard this afternoon on the gay radio station on Sirius, as of now Comcast has NOT agreed to carry it. They claimed it was money issues or something (but the woman giving the interview suspects it is more about homophobia than $$$).

All I can say suggest, if you have Comcast... call and bug them to get it and get all your friends (gay or straight) to do the same thing... Maybe it will work...

The last I heard they were still in talks, that was 2 days ago. Maybe the talks failed. I have not been able to get anymore information on it. You can get it on the following systems.

1. Time Warner (Channel 155 on DTV)
