firefox is so slow or is it just me?

something happened to firefox, the memory leak is the biggest of the problems. but it has been crashing for me lately.

and that is after i installed this shitty service pack 2 so I can test the even shittier IE 7 beta. Iffy 0.8+ Firebird was one helluva browser. Hopefully with 1.5 things will be better

i did those changes, pages do seem to load a bit faster but it still takes forever to get firefox started...must be something on my computer.

now does anyone know a tweak in ff that fills in the username/password first as opposed to only after the full page loads?

All Microsoft has to do to crush Firefox is offer tabs and built in support for skins and plugins.

supposedly the new IE will have tabbed browsing... :uhoh:

If they drop active X support from the browser then I might consider switching back. But tabs are nice. :)

The problem I read with IE 7, it will not support CSS3. And I doubt any upgrades until IE 8 will support CSS3. This probably means anywhere from 5-7 years maybe before CSS 3 is fully suppported.
