It is a whacky world, isn't it. I always wonder what the excuse the Americans will use to invade Canada.

to protect us from the evil fags & pot heads that have taken control of our courts & government, of course... :signhere:
actually right now, the laws on the book wouldn't stop a lot of "pornographers" as they keep everything carefully and live in a community with porn-friendly standards.
these are laws that make the small liquor store with a few porn dvd's behind the counter guilty of a crime that could allow the government to seize all the liquor store owner's property for the government. distributors (except for those in super porn unfriendly locations) were exempt from all this stuff until this bill... as were online stores.
and hollywood movies were exempt till now. but removing the word "actual" will put pressure on them, as well.
this really is an entirely different situation, and it may not just be about porn. it's about "cleaning up" america back into the 50's. if two people kiss in a bed, it could be simulated sex. certainly the matrix (for example) has simulated sex, and that will now have 2257 requirements.
or maybe it IS just about porn, but it's attacking people who work in video stores - even in los angeles.

I can imagine that this can of worms is just beginning to be cracked open.
This law may never see the light of day for all the challenges it will get in the legal system.
