We were also one of the ones scammed by Jim (Prostock) and he illegally licensed our content for sale on GSC. GSC did promptly remove all our content off the site after we sent them a DRMCA notice, so we decided not to press charges.
I definitely concur with Lee on Prostock (Content2Die4), karma will have it's way with him (if it hasn't already).
Man that sucks when that happens. It is costly too because you have to redesign so many things etc. Sorry to hear about that Lee.

Therefor you probably better remove the other stuff from your site as well or you finish the deal we had now.

I think we're oftentimes so defensive in this industry because there's definitely no shortage of people out there screwing other people (pun!) but would imagine there's also plenty of occasions in which people make honest mistakes.
It could be that both Lee and GreatSexContent got screwed by a 3rd party here, and that neither one is evil.
It reminds me of when we recently hired a model, through his agent, that we thought had not done any other work. We were assured we'd be the first company he worked with. Well, after filming him (and paying him) and all that good stuff, we find out he did a bunch of work for other people immediately before we flew him out here to film him.
At first, I got ticked at his agent and let him have it. I felt it was his responsibility to know and share that info, and that he'd intentionally deceived me. But after further discussion, we all discovered it was the model who'd kept his agent in the dark on extra money he was making "on the side", and so both the agent and we got screwed, essentially.
Sometimes, the conflict between 2 parties is rooted in the misdeeds of a 3rd. :)

The problem with your analysis, which, i might add, in any usual circumstance id be quite willing to accept as possible, is that, after being told that they had stolen content on thier site, several times, they continue to sell it.
It doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out, if you have something on your content store that you arent legally allowed to sell, you remove it and dont continue selling it to other webmasters putting their business in potential legal jeopardy.

They were when you bought it from them because they weren't aware they'd purchased stolen stuff. This entire incident is what made them aware, and they've removed it all as a result.Quote:

B. is right that I felt we were ripped off by prostock, not GSC. I felt a bit sorry for them actually, since I think they were ripped off by Prostock (a professional scammer) in the same way we were.
I really don't understand the deal Lee had with GSC, and am thinking there is a misunderstanding going on? Much better if they can talk in person and work it out I think then causing drama here on the board.
