The question being missed is what is branding?
No I don't mean putting a mark on the rump, though I can think of some legal beagles who wouldn't be above putting their brand on a certain someone's behind, but basically branding refers to a symbol, phrase, or whatever that when noticed by a passer by makes them think of that product.
If you see the logo for pepsi, you don't even need to think twice to know its pepsi... that is branding. If you see a fat jolly guy with a huge white beard, you think of Santa Claus... that is branding.. an image that jogs the memory to relate it to something specific...
So for Mr Taylor... I'd say something vibrant that would automatically make one think of him. Whether its a condom jumping out of a jack in the box or a pair of legal briefs tossed in the air, I don't know... but that is what I would be looking for.. an image that one could associate with Mr Taylor...
ALso it really doesn't matter if you are a model, dvd star, webmaster, editor or whatever, the image is going to make people think of Kelly Taylor. So I would take traffic out of the equation totally, as that is confusing the goal.
but that is merely my opinion. Branding means recognition from something, whether it be an image, a sound, a colour even. No different than seeing a pink ribbon to signify breast cancer.
my 2 cents
