there are too many to choose from , that would be like asking what's your favorite "carpenters" song ( close to you ) , i would have to agree with the soundtrack to "muriel's wedding"
sincerely ~ ..."take a chance on me"...

How can anyone say no to a face like that? ;)
Man there are so many good ones to pick from. And seeing the show Mamma Mia makes you appreciate them even more. I'd have to go with the classic Dancing Queen, as well as Voulez Voux, Waterloo, and Fernando, but there are more I love too! And of course now Madonna has even gotten into Abba with Hung Up!
I do not know who ABBA is, but don’t really like chick music or movies after all I am a guy the last time I checked. I like Korn, Pantera, south park, scare tactics, Miami Dolphins, ECT
ABBA is/was a pop band from the olden days. Back in the 1970s they were one of the biggest selling bands in existence. And to this day, they have still out sold all of the bands you mentioned.
Did someone piss in your bed this morning because you sure don't have much good to say about anything?
Michael
Sorry was not trying to be a dick, I was not old enough to really remember the 70s, but I really just don’t like much music like that “Madonna”. I know I am a living gay contradiction, I don’t expect others to think the way I do.
I am a huge Abba fan, so to pin point on one song is hard...but after thinking which could possibly be my favorite one would have to be "Fernando". I did how ever love Toni Collette and Rachel Griffiths lipsink performance in Muriel's Wedding of "Waterloo".
Nina, pretty ballerina is my fave.

I, too, am a "gay contradiction" in many ways. I resent the notion that just b/cuz I am gay, I should like certain kinds of music (ABBA being a prime example). BUT, for me, I just don't like their music. It has nothing to do with them being gay icons. But I turn into the biggest fag for Madonna. She represents everything that is exciting and daring and controversial and artistic to me. I also love Judy Garland. LOVE HER. You put any of today's starlets up next to her, and I bet not even a quarter of them possess as much talent as Judy did. Love Liza as well. And Barbra Streisand has her moments as well. Big Bette Midler fan, too. And why the hell not? Does that make me less of a "man" b/cuz I dig those people? Whatever.
Personally, I am bored to tears with men who shy away from gay things. I do think that we should all have fun with being gay. There is no such thing as "chick music" or even "chick flicks." Attaching gender to a certain kind of music or entertainment is pretty stupid, if you ask me. And frankly, it tips us off that you obviously have some kind of issue with your own masculinity. Anyone can appreciate music, no matter who makes it. Remember, a good deal of music sung by women is written by men.
The winner takes it all.
This thread made me dig out my Abba CDs and I've narrowed it down to about 30 hehe
'The Winner Takes it All' and 'When All Is Said and Done' I've always loved.
You are so gay Tyler LOLQuote:
