if maxpower is nomad as i've been told, the site is twinkguys and it's a new site. it was the site last month that was found to contain stolen content.

for the price someone pays for that many feeds, one could afford to buy the entire cheapcontent.com catelogue when they had their sale. you could have then thrown in the videos from rockbottomcontent.com - they're like $10 or less each and i'm sure they'd have mde a deal if he'd have have bought a bunch. or one could play let's make a deal at wwc or somewhere else and gotten enough scenes to allow the site a unique grouping of videos rather than the same plugins 80% of the sites use as extra content.

The only large site (name recognition wise) that comes to mind who uses feeds as a primary selling point is bedfellow. One thing you have to consider with old school sites is that you may be able to emulate their content, but you can't obtain 6-8 years of name branding in 3 months. That is the main contributing factor to the continued success of certain older sites.




I would agree that webmasters are more critical than surfers are since we've seen it all, but that doesn't change the fact that the most popular sites in each catagory (minus old brands and large sponsor program sites) are all based on exclusive content.

And I would add to what Basschick has posted, that if maxpower is nomad / newguy (and I think it is one in the same given how the posts are all similar in nature) it is why sponsors need to be more vigilant on who they grant access to. Legit webmasters can benefit from access, the other type of webmasters who use redirects, cloaking etc, only want the access to steal the content and use on their own sites.

I thought “nomad” was some kind of a industry joke or something, that I did not get so I let it go. But you guys have gone from the topic of letting some of my affiliates have free access for a month too, having to have exclusive content our you have a crap site, too filling your site with really cheap BS content, too me asked people for access too their site to steal their content, and now I am some Muslim fanatic. I just asked someone how I could pay just to get their sites in a forum that was about their site a week ago and the shit hit the fan.

Talk about revisionism... so uh, where did someone accuse you of being a muslim fanatic? that's a new twist... but then hell, i suppose if you can claim that 90% of those surfing an ebony site aren't people of color, I guess you can claim you being accused of being some nut job...

but hell, its easy to disprove... just post your site... after all it is an affiliate program, so one would assume you'd need webmasters to sign up to promote it, and as this forum is filled with webmasters... would seem logical you'd want to post the program to get webmasters signing up...

.... unless of course there is no affiliate program?

I don't get it why you can't see the good advice great professionals are giving you here.

Besides plug-ins being so expensive,
Do you know that plug-ins are just wasted money. You don't own anything. When you don't pay your bill, that content is gone for your members. Webmasters here are telling you where you can get content/videos that you can own and depending on the type of license you get some you might be able to give to webmasters to promote your site or you can watermarked it with your sites URL. there are so many more benefits of having your own content, IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE EXCLUSIVE. You can have some plug-ins/feeds but use them as something extra that you give to your members.

Max, you could quell all the inference and innuendo by simply posting the URL of your site in your profile. I haven't posted mine, but I have an excuse: I haven't launched mine yet.
