MySpace Under Attack - Age Verification Issue

See you don’t really own and adult members site man, that how its easy for you to say that stuff. I sell for other services too and in fact my site dose allot better than they do or I would not be wasting my time on it. And BTW just cuzz I have allot of feeds that dose not mean that’s all I have or that I only have a few hundred videos/movies and 5000 series pics that I call a web site. My site is new and I am trying to expand it all the time, but I offer the best live and video content from about very studio on the planet. That costs me thousands of dollars very month :juggle:

BTW I do not believe in absolutes their are acceptation to very rule what I talk about are tends that I see. I don’t know why allot of the people on this board assume anything different and always want to jump to one absolute to another, but it is annoying

Eventually, everyone here is just going to completely ignore you (if Lee doesn't ban you first) because you're so completely full of shit, probably one of the most arrogant people I've recently come across, and COMPLETELY clueless.

It's one thing to say "This is my experience" and quite another to bellow about how right you are about everything, when most everyone in the industry (people who DO actually know something) are having different experiences than you are.

Your website exterior is the biggest piece of crap I've probably ever seen. If you're not getting sales, perhaps it's not because of free content, and instead because your site looks like something that didn't perform even in 1995. (And EVERYTHING performed in 1995.) Perhaps if you spent less time bullshitting about how wonderful and successful you are, while simultaneously complaining about how little money you make, and put that time into hiring an experienced adult designer to come up with an attractive site design that would actually convert, you'd have more money to go out and hit the club circuit rather than hurling your diarrhea of the mouth here at gww.

Oh... and once again, your idea on using Visa or MC as age verification is full of shit. If you'd done your research, or even FOLLOWED THE INDUSTRY NEWS, you would know that Visa and Mastercard absolutely DO NOT want their products used as age verification (why do you think that AVS sites are no longer "Age Verification" sites and now "Adult Entertainment" sites?). Visa US and Mastercard Interbank Association actually DO NOT know the age of Visa/MC cardholders (they are associations that manage logistics and set policy, and do not maintain records on individual cardholders - the issuing banks do that.) And, furthermore, Visa and Mastercard are lobbying hard to be able to issue cards to teenagers, and many states are now permitting this... not to mention that one can buy a Visa gift card or a rechargeable Visa card with no ID whatsoever... it's all part of the card association's strategy to further extend their reach... which providing age verification would restrict, rather than enlarge, their market share.

Credit card age verification will never happen. Plain and simple.

Nobody wants to give their CC# out to every "potentially harmful to minors" website they visit. Americans will not stand for that and neither will the ACLU since it blocks access to information from those without cards.

What we will see is mandatory internet content ratings for certain types of sites. MSIE has software built in. You can buy more advanced software. Hardware firewalls can handle it. I'm also sure ISP's would offer an extra service to filter sites before they even reach your house.

We have a big network down here... our site was shown of tv many times in Sex Predators TV stories... but we have yet to have a single person who got raped through the site
