I hired a drag queen from Grand Rapids, Michigan to play Daisy. Her name is Reba Rose Rau. Here is her picture...

Why the drag queen? I like the concept and the guys, but damn nothing makes me lose a hard-on faster than a drag queen. Personally I would rather see a real girl than a drag queen. :roadie:

Because it is a comedy. The drag queen is not in a sexual role. She is just a cahracter in the movie with some really REALLY funny lines.

No girls.

I guess man, I do not know but some people might find them more creepy than funny. I just might not give her/him a big place in the cover of your DVD if you really need her/him I guess. The car does look really cool though.

Who said I would put her on the cover? Drag queens are a big part of our gay society and were not only a major part of Stonewall, but STARTED the fight for our gay rights. This is why we have Gay Pride, and it is all because of drag queens standing up for what we believe in.

I did not cast a drag queen because I think the concept of a man dressed up as a woman is comical. I chose to cast a drag queen because the CONCEPT of Daisy Duke, a sex symbol, would be comical if she were played by a man in drag in a non-sexual role. This has been done many times before, notably by Boy Mike playing Endora in "Bi-Witched."

The gay scene is not just boys in tight shirts cracke dout on Tina dancing til 4am to crazy club remixes of Cher and Madonna.

The movie is going to be hilarious. Not because a drag queen is cast, but because i wrote it as a comedy.

I am looking very much forward to see the end-product - It will actually be the first porn (?) movie I will by and I hope you can ship it to germany when it is available.

To me the movie seems like a sure hit since it is well cast and you even look for the details like we see in painting the car - THUMBSUP.

The way you approach your movies is rather professional then just letting to twinks bang their brains out.

If I had one whish this year I would like to be on the set during the shoots just for one day....

We are going out and doing final location scouting tomorrow. Locations we need are: a bar (interior and exterior), backwoods next to a road, farm house, long seldom used road with plenty of trees, a ravine and a gas station.

Rocky! The casting you have done looks great, I love the tongue-in-cheek rendition of Daisy, and the car looks very good BUT.... as one of the few gay car enthusiasts my heart was broken to see a Camaro instead of a Dodge Charger w/ the 440 cid engine. I will get over it fairly quickly since I don't think anyone is going to watch the movie to see the General Lee ;-)
BTW my second car was an orange Dodge Challenger with a Hemi engine. First was a '65 T-Bird with a 428 shoehorned into it and the third was a Buick Gran Sport with a 455 Stage One V-8. I had to get something tamer after that or risk about 100 tickets.

Yeah, it was hard to find a car for the movie, much less an actual Charger. LOL.

But since I am changing everything in the movie by 10% to avoid any copyright lawsuits (font on the title, the last names of the characters, the plot, the shade of orange, number and model of the car), I had to make a few sacrifices.

I could offer you the use of my dented, sun faded, formerly blue beat up dodge dakota that has 3 missing hubcaps, a plastic easy wash-out bedliner and almost looks uninsured [but great for those frequent trips to home depot] for uncle's jess's truck ! Since Uncle Jesse drove an F100 ;-) ......
