My biggest typo happened on TV. I have a thing about repeating syllables, so words like Mississippi are hard for me because if I'm not careful I'll skip a syllable and write it as Missippi. So I was asked to do a man on the street interview for the Jimmy Kimmel show. I was having the crappiest day so I don't know what made me say yes, but the guy (Jimmy's uncle who's about 80) asked me to write the words "functionally illiterate" on a chalkboard. Well, too many syllables I guess and I write "illirate" instead. Yes, I misspelled the word illiterate on national television. The best part came after all that when the crew told the guy to ask me about my shirt. I was wearing a t-shirt from an event called "the Leather Leadership Conference" which is an annual event where they have seminars to help people who take on a leadership role in the various leather clubs. So I talked to him for a few minutes about that and later that night I tuned into the Jimmy Kimmel and saw the whole thing in the clip. I thought to myself, "Oh my God, I've just outted myself as a kinky leatherboy to all of America". LOL!!! Luckily my folks don't watch his show, I could only imagine the phone call I'd get for that one.
The irony is that they had me in the same segment as a satinist and someone who was just really strange, so I didn't really stand out. I love LA!!!

I type my 'sign off' too fast and usually end up with the above....I should have learnt by now too, coz I do it in almost every email I send out.

Oh,and when I'm trolling the leather pickup sites I always cringe when someone says, "I'm a dominate Top". I used to always write back and say, "I think the word you are looking for is 'dominant Top'". Now I don't even bother.
Oh man... wow. Never caught that before... giggles
