Well now that I have some idea that I do know you from another board ... welcome! Traded you a link in the Gay Asian Town directory. I'll try and add a few more later this weekend to help you get it built up some.

I am curious to learn what blog script and directory script you're using on that site. I'm still wavering back and forth on some script options for some sites I'm wanting to build.

Well, I'm using a HEAVILY modified Drupal. Boy did that take some work to get it going. I spent about two weeks at it and still tweaking it. Not for the faint of heart that's for sure. And http://scripts.webmastersite.net/wsnlinks/
Another great script. There is a "free" version. The paid versions are WELL worth the money. Again a script for the not so "faint-of-heart" crowd.

Ah, I thought that might be Drupal .... been wanting to try that one out as the Mambo/Joomla is like OMG for figuring it all out, even with a book. I was thinking Drupal would create a directory because of its deep taxonomy ability - you found you still needed a seperate directory script though?

Yeah, I looked at Mambo/Joomla too but it wasn't flexible enough. There is a MOD in the works for a "better" directory hierarchy with respect to links/linkage, however I already had a copy of links and the "hooks" and embedding worked really well with it so I ran with that.
