Fireplay is where the top uses fire in a scene. I have to admit that I don't know much about it, but there is a way to use fire so that it brushes up against the bottoms skin, sometimes even singing the hair, but does not burn the skin or leave marks. It's a warm, sometimes intense sensation for the bottom, but if done right it can be harmless. IF DONE RIGHT. Keep that in mind and don't try this at home. :)

I've also seen people fireflogged, where a flogger is lit on fire and then used on the back of the sub. Again, when done right the bottom is not harmed. They may get marked up a bit, but the marks fade, they do not do any lasting damage. Besides, some marks and bruises are okay if you had fun getting them. ;)

Chris, you're a man after my own heart. I'm a member of a club here in LA that does education programs on BDSM. We have both informative meetings (open to all) and hands-on classes (men only). I love being able to pass on things that I've learned. Kudos to you and your man.

Don... that is awesome... curious... club as in organization only or club as in organization and venue for performance and demonstration. The wife is always looking for performance outlets, and we are trying to look into traveling... depending on fundage and stuff.

Actually, we are an organization. We use a church as our meeting place. Yes, a gay/leather friendly church. It's very cool. But we do not have a venue of our own. I think there are some pansexual fetish clubs in LA, though. I hear Miss Kitty's is supposed to be pretty hoppin'. I've never been but it may be worth checking out. :)

And if you come to town and go there, I just may have to follow you. Heh heh.
