Do one page tours really convert?

I do not go around attacking people, but when ever I try to defend myself on the very few occasions I do people act like I start this crap. I really let like 90% of this crap go, but sometimes it gets old from the same old people. I have not heard one comment about this asshole, does he give good head or what? From his comments I would be afraid he would be a biter

And yes you are kinda right I have been plugging in content and other very repetitive stuff for the past week so been 420ing it up allot :high:

Ya I do understand and you are probably right, but we all have a bit of duality in us I guess mine is a bit more pronounced than most though. You guys can not bring me down today any way, I have finally completed my first tour page template :) still a small problem with displaying the text over the images I have, but that is something I will take care of soon. :cheese:

Yes, one page tours do work, despite what others may tell you.

That being said however, you are going to need to tweak them at various stages along the testing process to make sure they actually convert traffic in to sales, almost all of the Condom Cash tours were changed, i guess around 5 times once the basic layouts of them were finished, this included changing color schemes, models, layouts and even the fonts that were used on the tours.

The added advantage of 1 page tours that a lot of people dont seem to understand from a business standpoint is that it gives the surfer a much better chance of getting to the join page and completing a sale without leaving the tour, over the years i have gained stats from several sponsors that have multiple tour sites in addition to single tour sites and, every time without fail, the sites i promoted using a single tour page out-performed the multi-tour page sites.

When looking at stats for these in comparison, it quickly became apparent why, most surfers, if they dont like something on the first 2 pages of a tour WILL leave the site, so basically, with multi-page tours you need to ensure that each and every page of the site is perfect and will excite the surfer enough that they continue clicking through the tour pages and on to the join page whilst, with single tour pages, you only have 1 page that you need to worry about ;)

So far as your branding question, whether the tour has 1 or 100 pages really doesnt make any difference to how well the sites branding goes, there are so many variables when it comes to branding that it totally depends on whether you want to most of the branding work yourself or, let your affiliates do it for you, most sponsor programs take the much easier route of letting the affiliates brand their sites and, this method of branding is a good one because you have no limits as to where your affiliates will mention your site names (notice i said names and not urls).

On the subject of branding a site, you also want to make sure that you mention the sites full name on any promo materials that you have, including banners, buttons, fpa's, fhg's in addition to any hosted promo tools you may be offering your affiliates.

Another thing that i have found works well from a branding standpoint is to make sure you are using custom emails from your processor, make sure you mention the sites name a couple of times in any signup or cancellation emails that the surfer/member gets sent in addition to mentioning the site name in the members area of the site.

Finally, if you are going to take the multi-niche approach with one page tours, what i would suggest is that you try to remove any pre-conceived notions you may have about the tours, forget everything you know about reality and magazine style tours and stick with the basics, if you have a site featuring blowjobs, fill the page with images of guys getting their cocks sucked, if you have a site featuring solo men, fill the page with images of solo guys, cute, ugly, black, white, asian, you name it, this way, you are going to be certain that you hit as many demographics as possible when it comes to a surfers particular taste and, whilst you cant guarantee a surfer will sign up once they hit the site, you will at least be able to appeal to a much wider base of surfers by showing them a larger selection of niche specific images than they might find elsewhere.

I do still see some good 'sticky' value from having the multi-page tours too that update, I say that because we get a ton of bookmark traffic and people coming back to see our latest samples. However the 1 page idea sounds like a great way to hit more demographics without all the work that goes into building a 'megasite.'

We will definitely be experimenting. :)

I think you are doing what I am going to do when I launch foreskincash

I remember going to a convention once and the owner of a big straight fetish site (and this what at the time when the next next next next type tour was on the way out) said I break all the rules my tour has fifty plus pages. He went on to say he didn't even know how many pages his tour had. just that a lot of people have bookmarked it. Wish I could remember the name - something lands.

Anyway, I believe if you have GOOD exclusive content and you know your niche, then you gotta do what you gotta do to make the sale. If you can do it in one page, then let it roll. If you got models in a niche and you want surfers to see it all, then it may take more.

Lee mentioned that one picture can turn a surfer away (and he proved that with his whatever type tour he did for foreskin) but if you use that logic a tour that is dynamic can bring a surfer in as well. How many times have we visited the same site via a text link or whatever method. Maybe the first time you didnt cath their attention. But if its dynamic maybe the second or third you will.

I love tours that Mimic the members areas. I am sure you will never see Corbin or Sean goto a one page tour. What a waste of great content that would be.

It has been my experience that surfers visit the same time numerous times before joining, even on traditional and 1 page tours, not to see what new models are around but rather because they want to make sure that they are going to be buying in to the right site for them.

If you have a tour that is dynamic, as with anything, you stand a much higher chance of turning the surfer away from an immediate buy. The quicker you get a surfer to click through to the join page and submit their info, the higher your chances are of making a sale.. Period.

Offering the surfer a reason to leave the site and come back at another time does nothing but cost the paysite money.

We're here to make a profit, not keep the surfer coming back again and again to 'think' about buying a membership, we want them to hit the site and actually buy a membership and, if they dont buy a membership, the idea is to send them to somewhere they will buy and, make you money in the process, that was the whole concept behind the exit console on paysites.

Not true. If you have a static tour and they don't like. They will never join...

So would you recommend corbin fisher and sean cody do a 1 page tour. They have more members than you will ever dream of having.

In marketing the three click rule is pretty standard practice. You want at MOST three clicks to a join page. That is what makes someone buy.

Hit First page, goto models page, click thumb, hits join. Boom! Sale.

Hist First page, goto vidoes page, click thumb, hits join, Boom! Sale.

It's more in how many clicks to the join page vs how many pages its takes.

Reality tours that are more than one page rocked in terms of conversions. Look at Boys First Time.

IF you have good content, like MANY sites do, then show it.

I wouls love to see Lee's design for a 1 page Sean Cody tour. Then again maybe I wouldn't...

And Danny, to be homest, you really have to ask your affiliates what THEY want. They are the ones deciding IF they are going to send you traffic.

Do a poll and ask how many webmasters here actually market Condom Cash and those that do ask them how agressive they do versus other sponsors.
