MOre Justin berry arrests pending

The million dollar question here is how did he present himself on the site prior to the Mexico site? Specifically his age.

I presume that as a 14-15 year old camop he would have operated his site as non-nude, and then done private webcam work under the table for men who solicited him for it. Being that such a site would have appeared clean inside and out, there would have been no reason for him to lie about his age at the time.

I can't see a young teen getting away with running a full blown porn site and getting away with it on the only traffic source at the time, webcam toplists such as Jasbits.com. Plus news stories have stated that some men paid big bucks to watch him, and that wouldn't have been the case if he were running a regular porn site.

So going with the theory that he went by his true age early on, that creates problems for some members of the Mexico site. How many remembered him as the 15yo who had the clean webcam site a year earlier who now suddenly has a porn site?

What if they can link members of the Mexico site to the previous site? Doesn't that prove they knew his true age?

If I remember from the NYT article, he was jerking off on webcam when he was 13, and charging hundreds of dollars for private shows... paid for through Amazon wish-list purchases made by his "customers". Then at 15 or 16, he had a website, set up with the help of a friend, in which he was most definitely jerking off / having sex / etc... so my guess is that at least a substantial portion of the people who had followed him *had* to know he wasn't 18, disclaimer or not.

Also, the NYT article said that apparently Eichenwald (author of the NYT article) hooked Justin up with attorneys who negotiated complete immunity in exchange for his ratting out everyone involved and providing billing and other records.

From everything I've read, the kid knew *exactly* what he was doing pretty much from the beginning and made a fortune from it. And according to the NYT article, he was still recruiting under age boys to jerk off on camera after he turned 18, making him a felon... so most likely some of his "partners" or ********* customers insisted that he continue on under threat of being turned in... so he decided to just save his own ass and bust everyone else.

I think I read that his mother is a therapist. Clearly, he's quite a piece of work.

When he was under 16 I'm sure viewers could tell he was underage.... but it seems that viewers of him when he was 17 and up are the ones who he has records of... and 17 could be difficult and if it had 2257 at the time would be unfair to those people.

I think anyone who continued to use Neova after all of this erupted is officially a confirmed moron. This goes back years. The articles are out there dating back to 2001. All you had to do was put one and one together to see this coming.

when i was 21 and 22, i regularly got carded for cigarettes and a couple stores flat out refused to sell them to me despite my california state i.d. and the fact i was toting my toddler with me. most people guessed my age by looking at me as 15 or 16.

and there are a few twink pornstars out there who are stars precisely because they look younger than they are.

i would avoid joining a site like that at all costs, but although people who look younger than they are aren't that common, it's not insanely uncommon, either.

Justin Berry made his first ever court appearance at the hearing of Ken Gourlay today. Berry was previously meant to testify on June 17 but was hospitalized for psychological reasons.

According to an eyewitness in court today while being questioned Berry repeatedly looked at the judge and asked "How old was I?" We have previously questioned the verasity of Berry's allegations and the many inconsistencies in his timelines, but it seems he is having trouble remembering now too. We have also raised questions as to his motivations. His apparent confusion as to his age when situations occurred also extends to who he had working for him. When he was asked if he knew witness Edward Mulak, Berry responded "I knew he was a roomate of Ken's (Gourlay) thats all.", but when Mulak was on the stand he testified that he had made a masturbation video and sent it to Berry because at the time he was broke and needed money. He had been in communication with Berry online at the time. Berry is also reported to being confused when being cross examined by Howarth, repeatedly saying he didn't understand the question or asking why it was relevant.

It was also reported this week that investigators have been handed the names of the 1500 members of Berry's pornographic website.

The referrals for possible prosecution were made late last month to attorneys general in 46 states by the Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee of the House Energy and Commerce Committee. The information provided to prosecutors included names, credit card information and identifying details of the computers used to purchase monthly memberships at an illegal child pornography site.

The records were turned over to the committee by Berry who, beginning at age 13, ran a pornographic Web site featuring images of himself streamed onto the Internet through inexpensive Webcams.

Since July 2005, Berry has been cooperating with the Justice Department in an investigation of people who helped market, promote and support his Webcam business. In his congressional testimony, he criticized federal prosecutors for failing to pursue the 1,500 people who subscribed to the multiple sites he ran. Department officials responded that they were conducting an active investigation of Berry's allegations. As part of his testimony, Berry provided the subcommittee with 1,071 credit card transactions for one of his Web sites, called mexicofriends.com. Subcommittee staffers said that there were fewer subscribers in the records than transactions, because the documents included renewals and names of people who tried to sign up several times with different credit cards.

This begs the question, on what grounds can any of these people be prosecuted when they signed up innocently, believing that they were seeing other adults. There was only one actual proven underage "performer" on Berry's site and that occurred after Berry had been in contact with the FBI and the NY Times. The only person who was deceptive here is the person that has immunity from prosecution. Berry also testified today that he had sex with a 12 year old girl in Virginia.

Questions are now being asked as to Berry's mothers' involvment in this after some new evidence has surfaced that alleges she knew all along what her son was doing. Justin's father has already been accused of allegedly paying for prostitutes for Berry's videos.

Age is the biggest factor in this case and one that affects Justin Berry the most. Was he underage? Was he legal age? That seems to change depending on what he is talking about. No wonder he is confused. The number of inconsistencies surrounding this case is growing daily and we will keep you up to date on what happens, plus an eye witness account of today's court appearance.

I think when he was on Larry King he said his father was paying for his prostitutes so he could have sex on camera at 16. I think he was in a chat room at 13, someone offered him $50 via PayPal to just strip, and he did it.
