Wow that is just crazy, even after being caught red-handed stealing your work he still continues to deny it

gaydemon, for what its worth ill be removing his banners later today. this isnt right.
i wrote that review and sold it only once to one person. if it is, indeed, being sold, sam would have helped himself and gaydemon by having told gaydemon who it was that sold a template that contained this copyrighted work.
once we used a designer who "borrowed" from someone else's design. we didn't know till the owner of the design contacted us - and yes, he was pissed. instead of sending him a bunch of rude hostilities, i sent him a truly sincere apology and took that part of the site down immediately. after all, even if i didn't personally steal from him, something stolen from him was on my site and it certainly wasn't his fault.
I think it is possible, maybe even probable that a non scrupulous script installer would have used a copyrighted review as an "example" of what the script can do and to demonstrate it's functions, however, that being said,
I think it would be prudent on the part of the offending site to, once the copyright infringement has been pointed out, to immediately remove the offending material (looks like that has been done) and offer an apology if the error was accidental as suggested in this instance.
I think the offending site needs to take the more gracious approach upon realizing the error, and certainly should not try to be vindictive or defensive, understanding that copyrights are serious business.
I think the offending site should realize that gaydemon has a legitimate right to be very upset and should offer remedies for the infractions instead of excuses or veiled slander.
A gracious and humble apology coupled with a reasonable, no fault, explanation and possible assistance in tracking down the actual offender (script installer) would certainly go a long way toward healing the damage done in this situation.....
Certainly responding with taunts and cheap verbal attacks are not the proper way to make this better for all involved.
This incident is very upsetting the say the least. Here is my response and apology.
For the last couple of months my attention has been focused on britishbucks.com and its sites. The design and operation of theboyzlist.com has been mainly handled by an individual who until a few hours ago was in my employment.
This stock script was put into his hands to be installed. Honest truth is I hadn’t seen it even thought it was done a couple of weeks ago. With little knowledge of the market he seemed to assume it was ok to steal a review from another site, and load it into the script for testing. This of course is where the problem has come from.
In defence of my rude email it was sent in reply to Bjorn’s. It was purely in defense, taking the same tone as his initial email. I respect Bjorn; his site and enjoy working with him. That email in no way reflects the “type of person I am” as posted elsewhere.
As soon as I found out about all of this, the offending pages were removed instantly, quickly followed by the dismissal of the person responsible. The review script itself had not even been designed fully apart from the header, as you can see from the screenshot Bjorn acquired. If my goal was to copy gaydemon.com, that script would have had a lot more than one of his reviews in, wouldn’t you think ?
I wish this matter could have been resolved much differently, but sadly it has caused all this drama.
I wish to offer my full apology to Bjorn regarding this incident, and I have learnt a lesson when it comes to responsibilities of new employees.
I am hoping any problems from this can be resolved. I hope that Bjorn and myself can shake hands over this mistake and move on with our business relationship.
I would be happy to talk to anyone regarding anything to do with this. I will be on ICQ for the next 8 hours or so. ICQ: 244711635.
As a personal note to Bjorn, if there is anything else I can do to put your mind at rest, please contact me. I would be happy work with you to overcome this.
Thank you all for your time.
