Im in Michigan, Chicago is a 3 hour drive for me. So I wouldn't mind a weekend gathering there :)
I havent been to Chicago yet so that would be a great excuse for me to take a trip with Gary also :)

This is cool. I'm ecouraged by all the replies! Perhaps a spring or summer weekend would work out. Chicago's just not the place to be in the winter. I'll start looking into details and keep everyone posted.

I'm not in the midwest, but Toronto's only an hour flight from Chicago, so I might be up for this, too. If it's summer, maybe my husband will come and we'll drive, stopping at Sandusky for some roller coaters.
