You know, now that this has come to light twice in just a few days, it's really made me think. What kind of message are we sending to the adult webmaster community when it becomes perfectly permissible to use a bunch of content taken from someone else's site. Is it okay if you only take it from one site? Or maybe you can get away with two? Three or four? A letter is sent, a phone call is made and then it goes away and you just keep making your money without putting in your own expense and work. We're not talking about a couple of guys posting a few pics in a yahoo group or a single video clip on xtube, we're talking about someone who's based their very business model on the theft of someone else's hard work. I guess as long as they're not stealing from CCBill it's okay.Quote:

I can understand that, but if I was running a site and someone contacted me about some of my content having been possibly stolen, I'd be sure to take care of it asap.Quote:

Everyone has bumps and bruises along the way. But this isn't a newbie making a mistake. And the people in this thread have been reported before and not just by us. I'm sorry if I'm being harsh but it's just really frustrating when you're trying to follow the proper channels to protect your business and end up feeling like there's nothing you can do. It's like being picked on by the bully in high school and if you tell the principal all the kid gets is a slap on the wrist and then you just get beaten up as soon as the principal turns his back.
