No one said anything about giving him a national day of mourning. But one of the traits of TRUE Christianity (something Falwell himself seemed to not understand) was simply having compassion for your fellow human beings. Far too many of us are filled with hate, and to me, that's nothing but negative energy. People who hold on to negative energy and who celebrate the death of another human being, no matter how non-compassionate that person was toward them... well, it says something about their character. I don't hold grudges. At least Falwell lived by his own principals, and fought for them. That's something to be respected in and of itself.
