Since you know about the case. You know who pushed for prosecution, the mother of the girl. She tried to back out after she found out the sentence when he was convicted. Since you know all about the case you know he also had intercourse with her when she was semi-comatose and could have been charged with rape. Since you know about this case you know he was offered a plea agreement and he refused since he would have to register as a sex offender. He was convicted and still has to register.Quote:

This law was on the books long before this kid was charged. It was not passed to prosecute kids it was passed to put child molesters away. Granted it could have been worded better where kids would not be charged this way.
Right now there is a push to have the DA prosecuted for passing out a copy of the tape, under the law, as child porn. I don’t know if he is protected by law or not on this since it is evidence. I guess when pushing a DA you get the worst to come out. He’s now looking at charging the video makers as making child porn. This could land several others in jail.
All justice, not just in the south, is in favor of the rich. You pay for the defense you get.
I could care less about murders, they deserve the death sentence.
