In defense...
I am now able to masturbate to relief in only 15 seconds.
Sucks for my sex life, but great for free porn on AdultRental.
:smoke:
Flacid to cumming in 15 seconds, dude your talented! Make a video and try to sell it on adultrental. Lol.
In all seriousness, my videos aren't on adult rental, but I will be in contact with them to get them up. Although I don't have 450 titles to put up, I am sure they will generate some revenue.
You are missing the point - the 15 seconds is random every click... therefore a free porn moocher can click the free demo 100 times and see most of the movie clip.
If Zipadeedoodah was committed to customer service, he 1) would ask for the cooperation of the copyright holders in executing such a plan before being an MBA ass and wave the contract like a bull fighters' cape, and/or 2) make the previews be static, non-random, and at the very least pick 10 seconds from a section of the clip where no oral/anal action is occurring, or ask the copyright holder to suggest such a 10 second range.
The issue here is the sanctity of the rights of the copyright holder.
And if you disagree, read your AVN daily news email today, with the court ruling against RapidShare (yeah!) then look in the mirror.
Not on adult rental its not, but I will send them some stuff and they can make all the 15 second clips they desire. Its really not a big deal. I have posted my own stuff on tubes, even as far as posting a full 25 minute scene to tube sites as well as to torrents and rapidshare. No surfer will get off to a 15 second clip. Also with all of the free tubes out there, the fact that the surfer even watches a 15 second clip on adultrental shows that he is interested in and probably is willing to pull out his card when he finds something he likes.
Then your posts are non-involved, non-experienced opinions.
It IS a big deal, 1) because you have not experienced a VOD pay portal giving your copyrighted content away without your design consent, therefore your opinion(s) is not given from experience, and 2) my experience is that when a VOD pay portal gives away my copyrighted content, my revenues decrease.
Your analogies of a YouTube clip to drive traffic to your member site is not analogous. Your "opinion" comparing YouTube to AdultRental.com is not a valid comparison, they are two vastly different entities, with different purposes.
A similar situation happened to me on a similar pay per view site... when the free demo started without consultation, my revenues halved... when I demanded that the free demos be stopped, my revenues doubled (from the pre-free demo period).
