When this thread first started I was thinking you meant a different theme presentation ... like the one at HairyGuysOnline The slide over of the pictures for info and links is pretty cool while keeping the blog face pretty tidy and gallery looking with the large "thumbs".

I think it looks interesting, I like the idea of text links to galleries with the occasional embedded video thrown in. Do you think it might work for us to make an affiliate hosted blog and RSS feed in this style as opposed to the traditional format? Would affiliates use it?
on all of my blogs now 9 or 10 i've lost count, I try to make them look like the scond one you listed, but i try to center everything and try to keep evenry thing the same size. I check them at 5am to make sure what is on rss feeds look right and fit to my twink blogs
