I am bursting to see this film. I am sure it will be thought provoking and well worth the time! :)
Don't get me wrong by my post; I definately think this admin needed plenty of negative press. It's about time the information age catches up with politics when it comes to the general lazy masses. Uninformed voters are what lead to the kinds of situations we are in.
Wow! It was quite a memorable experience seeing Fahrenheit 9/11 during opening day Friday. I recommend the entertaining, informative and provocative film.
I also highly recommend the enlightening new film in limited release called “What the #$*! Do We Know?!”
I might end up watching this movie later today :)

Lee
I have always enjoyed Moores films. Roger and Me being one of my favourites. I agree that he is opinionated and swings his films strongly in his favour. But I also believe we need him. We need him to swing so hard the other way. It causes people to think and to challenge the government. Love him or hate him we need these people to get the population on its toes. To publicly challenge the government. And to challenge our own beliefs. I will see 9/11 and I will enjoy it. And it will get me thinking.
Sorry to be redundant. I didn't click the link and didn't recognize the name Michael Moore a la Michael Moore.Quote:

Just finished watching this movie and i have to say it was very convincing as to why Bush shouldnt be in office after the Elections :)
If you want some brain food for the weekend go watch F/911 :)

Hahah... dude... I did almost exactly what you did. Saw the movie in Austin, TX to a packed house. The energy in the theater was incredible.Quote:

I saw the movie in Plano, TX (the heart of Bush country) and the audience was amazing... laughing and tsk-ing in all the right parts and with a nice round of applause at the end.
It was everything I hoped it would be and more... very eye-opening!
Then go to Blockbuster and rent, or better yet, buy Bowling For Columbine. Michael Moore is THE Most important filmaker of our time.
And for you skeptics, Mr. Moore rebutts all those who question his facts... check out http://www.michaelmoore.com/
Then I went to Circuit city and bought "Bowling.." .. saw it a few years back but wanted to buy it and see it again anyway.
Up here in Canada, Dubya has the highest unfavorable rating of any US President in Canadian History. Including Nixon.
So the theater I saw it in, of course, was filled with people laughing and cheering and practically jumping out of their seats.
I saw about 5 of those shirts with George's face on it that say "Hope You Lose, eh?"
And yes, Michael Moore edits his movies to drive home his points.. it what makes them good documentaries. All documentaries are edited to drive home one point or another... what republicans seem to hate so much about him is that he's so much better at it than any of them will ever be.
Ha
Man, I definately need to go check out that movie. I'm not a fan of Bush, and I was never a fan of Bush (the president at any rate) even before entering this business. This business just gave me new reasons to dislike him. What do you guys think the best part of the movie was? What was the point (or the slip up/interview) where you just thought: YEAH!
I'd be interested to hear, I might go watch it on Wednesday!
Michael
I love Michael Moore. I'm planning to see his movie on Tuesday. I'm always in awe of his courage and the stuff that he pulls.
I loved it when he had the kid from Columbine try and return the bullets inside his body to K-Mart.
Cheers
