Speaking of trans - how many of you have caught the "Soldier's Girl" yet? ... it's a rough one emotionally... but worth seeing.

Sorry about bringing that up GA :( I couldn't begin to imagine what that would feel like.
Well now I have a new list of movies to rent or buy, thats definately good. I feel bad that I haven't seen most of them. I wanted to watch Soldier's Girl but it looks depressing and I stopped having cable right when it was about to premier.
Yes it is tough on the emotions but definitely a good movie!Quote:

Oh, just thought of another top notch flik - Boys on the Side. Better Than Chocolate was good too - had some pretty funny scenes. And another that wasn't specifically "gay" but was still excellent: Set It Off, with Jada Pinkett, Queen Latifah, Vivica A. Fox and Kimberly Elise.
Gladiator.
I know that there's only one small character who actually identifies as gay, but really, we've got a movie filled with all sorts of big, muscular, gorgeous, hot, sweaty men all covered in dirt and each other's blood, wearing practically nothing, all living, writhing and beating the shit out of each other, rubbing up against each other and showing off their incredible bodies every few mintues.
And the only female Character dies in the first 15 minutes.
I AM SO THERE.

But If I had to choose an actual "gay" movie, I'd probably say "Jeffrey" or "Get Real"
Yea, Entertainment Tonite ran a review on that and said it's probably the most amount of money ever spent on a gay porn flik ...Quote:

ok...instead of just quoting everybody here goes:
GA...I'm with you on "It's My Party"...While I think it's an incredible film, and I wish they would show it in schools because I think everyone should see it once...I can't watch it. It was hard enough getting through it the first time.
on "Interview With The Vampire" ...not gay themed? Good Lord, Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Antonio Banderas and Christian Slater sucking on each other in New Orleans, Paris and San Francisco wearing period costuming...I really don't think it gets any more gay than that.
Loved "Jeffrey"
Damn...I'm supposed to pick a fav here eh? hhmmmm......
I really think I'm gonna go with "Boys on the Side" for that one...I fuckin loved that movie.
For comedy – Bridcage
For a deeply disturbing emotional movie – Boys Don’t Cry
And, strange but good movie was – Monsters (I think that was the name)
About an old gay moive writer...bla, bla, bla...lol
That's Gods and Monsters.
It rocked. And I think Ian McKellan won the oscar for that. Which makes it Three oscar winners in the X-men moives.
how fucked up is that.
Ok.. now who would you like to SEE ina gay movie?
And yes, I'm gonna say Kerry King.
Yes, thanx for that...it's been so long since I saw it, I couldn't remember the name.Quote:

Well i have to say that it's "priscilla queen of the desert"
yeah i know... typical gay guy lol
I just have a strong feeling about it because it's the movie that made me come out :) plus i was in the army when i watched it so it doubles my feeling. :)
