I read a press release on XBiz last night about an inventive attorney in Florida, who created a 2257 App for Smartphones and Tablets. Makes all the releases available for signature, and procedures for uploading photos of ID.
Sounds like it does what I did a few months ago (above).
That's all well and good, but making one iOS App, for sale in the 99-cents store called iTunes, is not practical!
First, there should be BOTH iOS and Android versions. Two separate processes, but once you've done one, the other is a snap.
Second, SELLING an App that models are supposed to PURCHASE!?!? Not!
This is a classic example of my contention that before you worship the false idols called Apps, try making the same thing in a HTML5 webpage - like I did, with my handwriting page.
His bona fide idea to make an App to help with getting docs while on the road, is great... but a 99c App, only for iPhone/iPad, no Android, instead of a web page?!?!?
Please. Put on the brakes, and get back down to Earth. A model needing to buy a 99c App to keep you compliant with your documentation, is not going to happen.
