But not such a long page and all those thumbs. But that's the kind of thing i'd like for my paysite.
As a designer, most of the time, i do what i'm told to do. Even if i don't like it. There are plenty of sites in my portfolio that i don't like but i didn't have a choice. There are some clients for whom i work like a cashier at walmart because they just want something boxy (700-500) and with lots of xxx pics in it. And some who seems to really pay attention to what they want and for whom i'd do anything i can to help make something great.
Also one thing that pisses me off and people tends to mix things up. I am a fucking designer! that doesn't mean i'm good with text! Where the hell does it say that a designer has to be a text expert? What's the link between both of them?
I can do decent graphics but i SUCK at text. SO if the client doesn't provide me the text then i'll make my own and it'll suck... and i tell them that but most of them don't want to spend more money to pay someone to do the text so oh well.
It's just something that always bugged me.

He really is a great person. He made it all himself and still to this day does the whole site by hand. He's one of the most honest, and hard working webmasters I have ever met.
He made me realize that sites do not need all this flashy, bells and whistle stuff to convert. So makes me think that it's more us webmasters and program owners that want that to make ourselves feel good about we have the best site.
Just my 2 cents though.
