Well it can be hard to move there, and it's pretty remote and separated from the rest of the world. I've got a few friends who live there and love it, but say that they miss being able to fly to New York for the Weekend or take a week's vacation in Florida. And if I'm to understand that you want to move to a more Liberal country, Canada is where it's at.

And not all of Canada is that cold. Vancouver is warmer than DC, and they get very little snow. Lots of rain in the winter, but it's a nice rain, if you know what I mean. And British Columbia is beautiful at all times of the year, and the people are really cool and friendly, if not a little dull sometimes.

Seriously though it would take about a year to go through immigration. Although I think you can do lots of extended visits up here -- don't know for sure.

Does Australia have a point system like Zew Zealand has?

I'd be interested in living in either BC, New Zealand (but, that's out of the question because of their point system) or Australia

I've ALWAYS wanted to move to Austraila...ever since I was a kid

In any event, some where it's a wee bit warmer than Michigan would do...just not sure I want to live here in the US anymore.

I can't afford a tropical island anywhere...lol

Yeah I grew up in Vancouver, Washington. Tons of rain, just like Seattle, rains 9 months out of the year, even in summer. And when it's not raining there's mostly low hanging clouds in the sky all the time. A lot of drepression in those areas.

Jasun you should come out here to Australia and visit! It's spring here. You can be my guest and stay in the granny flat, you can see what Australia is like! If you're afraid of getting sunburnt, I have a tanning bed upstairs and you can ease your way into a good tan :high: Seriously

you know, its possible to buy an island off the coast of austrailia pretty cheap. ist technically a 99 year lease, but ive seen some good bargains. we should just establish a gay porn webmaster community.
