I'm embarrassed to admit knowing so much Liberace trivia, but in the 80's Liberace opened his Palm Springs house as a museum, but had to stop it when it became too successful. They probably rent out the Las Vegas house for weddings and Bar Mitzvas, but that's not where we're going. Maybe next year we can convince GWW to throw a bash at Liberace's house!
Liberace bought 5 acres including a strip mall in Vegas and opened the museum there. The plan was to buy up the surrounding land and make a theme park along the lines of Dollywood! Scary!
The museum had a $1.5million renovation a few years ago, and it's housed in two buildings. Don't miss the gift shop!

The house was incredible, to glimpse his lifestyle that was just so over the top - he had a spa in his foyer & mirror on the ceilings of some rooms!! LOL
