you are SO right!
See with us, MOTN traffic does WELL for us, and hunkhunter's traffic (for the short time I used them) did little. Granted, the "free sites" I list thereget a lot of traffic really quickly, but it just didn't convert.
I would really just buy text links from hunkhunter and see how it does first. If it does convert, then buy more or even a banner spot.
Now, sex.com. haha, I don't know what it is, but I just don't have a urge to buy traffic from them. From the pop up ads, exit consoles, then opening sites up in a new window. Then the spams in my email, not knowing we had an account. Just left a sour taste in my mouth.
Here's an update on my progress... I wrote my adwords but it was before Basschic's comment about the "nasty word" use. Of course, I was WAY too nasty. I'm such a bad girl. hehe So I re-wrote that but have not heard yet if my ad was approved. I did not use bad words but I was heavy on the connotations. Aaannnnd then I called Hunk Hunters, talked to Dennis for a while (what a doll). I wrote, re-wrote and wrote yet again my ad for them. We'll see how that goes.
Now I'm gonna go log into Google and see what's up with my ad words thingie.
Thanks for all of your sound and honest advise.:kitten:
I second this! They are a great company to work with and the business I have there is doing very well. Like Harlan said they are great guys to work with. I would definitely consider them!Quote:

It's always great to hear feedback, good and bad. Even better when after you start work with the company in question the good keeps rolling in.:high:Quote:

UPDATE!!!!
HunkHunters are doing well for me. I'd love to see it do even better but don't quite know how to do that. But at least it's registering in my stat counter.
Google AdWords is getting hits or clicks whatever you call it. I get major impressions but few clicks off of them. I dont know what that means, YET. lol The "avg position" thing is really messing me up. I increase the CPC and it barely makes a dent in my position. I'm guessing now that I just dont understand what it really means. haha I'll get it though.
I have noticed a small but hopeful increase in my sales. I imagine that I have to tweak more with my adwords. That is proving to be a challenge to understand. But I'm not giving up.
I didn't bother with the Sex.com one.
There you have it in summary, Hunk Hunter is in the lead for performance. Go hook up with them. :high:
maybe we can help figure out what is wrong. if your top bidded price on google doesn't put you in the top five results, you'll see less traffic. if you aren't in the top ten, a LOT less traffic. if you have a low budget, you won't get as many impressions.
if your keywords are unrelated, general or not well targeted, you can either see less hits or less sales very easily.
what do your google stats show as your overall ctr, and would you consider posting your ad here? there is a lot you can do to improve your overall ctr at google by working with your ad.
Check your PM. Thanks
