Quote:
so let me see if i have this straight then. you're not promoting the phoenix forum, but you're holding your gaywebmaster bash onsite at the same hotel that the phoenix forum is being held at.
Yes. As a sponsor of the Phoenix Forum we are holding the Gay Webmaster Bash events on site, just like, as a sponsor of the Phoenix Forum you are holding your events on-site.
Quote:
furthermore, you're not interested in the politics of avn and their shows but you're holding your gaywebmaster bash in las veags and in miami at the same times as the internext shows are held at.
As sponsors or, would be sponsors of those events are you saying that we are not allowed to hold our events there once we have paid our advertising dollars?
Quote:
is your business model then to follow already successful shows around the country and not support or promote them but rather conduct your own parties at the events by captializing on the traffic that these events have established without giving credit to the event that brought the webmasters together in the first place?
No my business model is to offer the show organizers support by means of sponsorship as we did in Vegas and, as we are doing in Phoenix and as we will be doing in Hollywood and throwing our own events at the shows, just as every other company before us has done and no doubt, will continue to do, including yourselves.
Quote:
craig originally suggested that you were capitalizing on the success of those shows in this manner and trying to make it look like the parties were your own
The parties ARE our own.
Quote:
i understand you flat out denied this but your past events link on the gaywebmasterbash website links to pictures of the topbucks party from last year! the title on the page clearly states 2004 gaywebmasterbash but it wasn't (as i remember) a gaywebasterbash party
The Phoenix 2004 Gay Webmaster bash was, in fact called that and was sponsored by TopBucks, AEBN and Stud Money iin their entirity, all three of us worked together extremely closly to pull the event off with great success and, that is what we did.
Quote:
did you sponsor this event as studmoney? did the process of evolution allow studmoney to become the gaywebmasterbash? or does your attendance at a party immediately stake claim to that party as a gaywebmaster bash event...?
Yes and yes.
The Phoenix Gay Webmaster Bash was just that, a Gay Webmaster Bash event organized by three companies who work and will continue to work very closly with one another.
Quote:
look man, i don't know what your agenda is but you ARE creating A division in the gaywebmaster community. at this point that seems to be YOU against EVERYONE else.
Okay thanks for your opinion on the matter.
Quote:
it might be time to let this go... have whatever party you want to have in your room (which may or may not be sanctioned by the phoenix forum -- is this why you're not supporting the forum anymore?)
Again with the connotations that the Phoenix Gay Webmaster Bash events arent sanctioned by CCBill or The Phoenix Forum, just to clarify Karl, they are, we have every right to throw as many or as few events as we want, being sponsors of the Phoenix Forum.
Quote:
nobody here really cares what you do until you get into the realm of appearing to leech business off of our hard earned sponsorship dollars.
How am I leeching when we are sponsoring the Phoenix Forum too? I just dont think you are understanding the fact that we, as a company, actually ARE sponsoring the Phoenix Forum, you have seen the Gay Webmaster Bash button on the Phoenix Forum website right? That is a paid sponsorship.
Quote:
or until you start making public statements that are determined to undermine the credibility of our friends...
I really don't have to undermine the perceived credibility of anyone in the gay mafia, they do a very good job of that themselves.
Quote:
frankly, nothing you can do with any party that you throw is going to affect my business model so i don't care... just stop acting like a saint!
Im glad to hear that Kal, just as nothing you do can interfere with our business model, no matter how hard you try.
