I quit my full time retail job a few years back. I've been building sites and webmastering full time ever since. Been around "part-time" longer though. Hours -- Lots. :)
Full time...I try to keep it to 60 hours a week....I work to live not live to work!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The other day, my friend was complaining about how he'd been scheduled to work 30 hours this week and that left him with absolutely no time to himself.
I get the feeling we're not in Kansas anymore, Webmasters.
Full time here too. But trying to keep the hours in a realistic frame is difficult.
The first 7 hours a day is spent on the business side (accountants, lawyers, correspondence, contracts and such) the next 7 is spent on webmastering and tech.
I'm so hoping to get to that point one day LOLQuote:

I would rather live with less then to wake up one day and realize I worked so hard I never had time to enjoy the fruits of my labor let alone time spent with the people I love.Quote:

A wise man once said to me:
What is there to be gained by being the richest man in the cemetary?
I work my butt off, but I do take time out when I can ;-)
I LIKE stopping to smell the roses.

Lee and I have made some solid resolutions (not just the New Years kind) to take the time we need and deserve.
It really wasn't until late last year that we realized what was happening. And after what has happened in my life, alone, I should know better.
CBT will you share the rose? ;)
My best,
GA
Gary, I will always have roses to share you guys ;-)Quote:

If I run short, I will simply plant more.
Either that or steal them from the lovely garden of the old duck up the road.
He he.
