New CC Biller?!

germany, hrmmm....that is interesting, thats why they get away with the no visa, but how do they get away with cross-border processing payouts with visa (I am talking about visa zones, not country zones here). That is a serious no-no and that is a big part of what shut down the other billers.

yet, I am also intrigued that these are ynot guys doing this. These boys are not small players nor are they new to the whole billing fiasco.

CBLCasey - what makes you say ccbill will be gone in the next 12-24 months? ccbill is huge and is fully compliant with visa and mastercard.

Are you kidding me? They had a big scandal a while back didn't they? I was banned recently because I hinted that one of their regulars was ripping customers off ( you know the straight guy selling Gay sites and promising stuff his customers say he doesn't deilver, the guy who said he'd never come to GWW again, the one who said here that he liked to push peoples buttons and manipulate them. ). You are not allowed to talk bad about any business on their site, whether they've done/do wrong or not, that's a red flag for me. I wouldn't trust a site that doesn't want people in the industry discussing things freely, good or bad. :francais:

they probably believe they can make it work - just like those other guys did.

also keep in mind that, while bob is a great guy, they bought ynot from rick. that's who first established the community.

It certainly interesting to see that they are processing via a German company and who knows this could be the next big processor for the industry, if it is, kudos to them.

However i also have to share the feelings about the cross border processing issues, unless they have something up their sleeve's that we dont know about, they are pretty much in the same area as processors like Verotel right now.

Will certainly be interesting to see how the next 6-12 months pan out for ynotpayment and you have to admit, thats a great way of branding their resources name in the industry even further especially if a couple of the big guys jump on board and start processing with them, pretty much all of their affiliates will be mentioning or see, the YNOT brand name on an almost daily basis.

Hmmm... I have a couple of ideas of my own now on the branding front :groovy:

Whatever happened to Rick? I heard some rumors recently that he was getting back into adult after selling AmateurMasters to the Camz crew a year or two back.

Rick certainly had one of the most well known names at the time, i wonder how many webmasters in the industry today even know who he is or what he acheived in the industry.

This sounds bad already. From my understanding this is just a loop hole around the rules that GloBill and a couple other processors did. Hum where are they now, I rest my case.

Another point is when processing adult like this you need to comply with visa and do everything that you are required to by visa without bending a single rule. You must bow down to them like they are your bitch. Any short cuts or anything and you are history.

There you go knocking Verotel who's been in business for years.

Verotel is in the Netherlands and are a Euro Visa compliant company.

The problems the other companies had were that they were American based companies trying to break the rules and go through Euro Visa.

Being a true Euro company and processing through Verotel is a totally different situation. Not to mention Verotel registers your company with the Netherlands chamber of commerce to make you a local business, at least they do Pro customers.

The facts are that ALL adult processing companies have no gurantees. :goof:

I'm sure Ynot knows exactly what's going on. They use the best attorneys, have access to the best in the business in every area you can think of. If the set up is similar to Verotel, I don't see why they wouldn't stick around. Basically all content must be "served" from their own servers, piggie back style, just like with the avs companies that are still alive.

We do need more processing options, but I want a processor to be a non interested third party.

I don't want my content hosted by my billing company, if I lose one, then I lose the other, and that would suck!

I spoke to him in Vegas. He's never really left the industry, except for the first year after he sold ynot to Flying Croc. I even asked him if he was getting back into the industry and he laughed and told me he's never really been out, just not visible.

I liked working for him back in the day, he's one of the good guys for sure.
