sometimes I have a lazy morning where I sleep in till 8:30-9:00 but of course I feel guilty about it and get online and start working right away.

Sometimes I get into a rut where I can't determine the best way to spend my time. These, for example, are the questions I've been pondering as of late:Quote:

Will I generate more revenue if I add X innovation?
Will I advance my growth by putting more effort into my affiliate program than the site promotion itself?
What are the best ways to reach affiliates?
What are the best ways to appeal to affiliates?
Stuff like this, where there's not really a definitive answer, really throws off my productivity during the day. I guess the key will be just to try them in small increments.
Add another workaholic to the list.
I have two jobs.
One that starts anywhere from 2AM to 5AM and normally finishes around 3PM - the hours are pretty flexible so long as I get my work done (the piles forever grow).
I then spend the rest of my day normally around 4PM to 7PM working on projects and catching up on emails. 7PM to 9PM posting on GWW.
There are always exceptions to the rule - like today being a public holiday in Australia but I'm working nonetheless.
Cheers,
Allan
Well, I'm here in a Sunday afternoon at work, making banners anc trying to catch up with all the email I've gotten over the last two days.
I'm checkingmy stats, editing a video, capturing the next video I'm going to edit and I'm about to run a live show while doing allof this, so yeah, I guess I'm a workaholic.
not that I don't have my lazy bouts but, no, not these days.
I can help you with the diz of the galleries! :egypt:
Well, our mileage probably varies from yours (or anyone elses), but for what it's worth...
Print advertising seems very spotty for us. I think it converts at least some, but I'd honestly spend my money elsewhere if there isn't a lot of it to spend. For my money, I'd focus a bunch on cultivating affiliates that have traffic that will convert for you...
... do a few TGPs, but don't expect much in conversion, 'cause the people that spend their time on TGPs are used to getting free porn.
... I would focus on getting the first going, with some decent traffic going to it before starting another one. We've been doing this for several years and we're just now getting the hang of keeping all 3 of our sites updated, affiliates supported, members happy.
Hummm, depends on what someone means by "lazy" I suppose.
For doing my puter work, I could work 60+ hours a week, if that's all I had to do. For getting the house stuff done (all the hard building shit I've been doing) I suppose someone could say I was lazy, except that I work like a crazy man when I do work. I do the work of about 3 guys in one day...then I need about 3 days days off...lol...it evens out!
But yeah, I can talk myself outta working very easy, when there's fun to be had elsewhere!
Working 12-16 hour days - 7 days a week ... so no, don't consider myself lazy. :francais:
I wouldnt say i was lazy, more of a REALLY good delegator ;)
Regards,
Lee
I would like to amend what I said earlier, back in it full time. I love 14 hour work days
I am not lazy in my business life...Personal life I am not lazy either I am a procrastinator to the highest order!! ( I have run out of gas twice this year lol) . I tend to keep busy with everything but what I should be doing.
The weird think is it does not spill over to my business life and I am never lazy/procrastinate when doing things for others.

I don't agree with his logic, but if I don't do it, it won't get done.. So I put everything off as long as possible and then when I just can't stand it anymore I spend half a day taking care of the yard and another day taking care of the house. When you have four kids (one human roomate and three large dogs) running around the house the mess is never ending. Hense my getting up at 7am this morning to take out the trash, clean the bathroom, and clean up the construction mess from the kitchen. Now I'm trying to get motovated to finish mowing the back yard, but its cloudy outside and it might rain... (crossing fingers)
i am....
