I also enjoy reading Squirt's post.
It would be sad to see this board full of sheep where everyone follows and nobody disagrees. .
Squirt gives his points of view on many things and when someone disagrees they can post back. Isn't that what a board is supposed to do. where we can express ourselves.

Well it's just my personal opinion but...
I think discourse and disagreement on a board are a good thing. And it serves everyone's interests to encourage open discussion where no one feels like they have to sugarcoat what they're saying or hold back from what they believe - all in the context of professional engagement and relevant subject matter, of course. Being that's what this board is - a professional board.
And I've made no secret of my disagreements with Lee in the past in how he's run this board or certain things he's done.
That all being said, however, I certainly wish that if people were going to be open, honest and blunt in a manner that encourages discussion, they'd do it with stuff more worthwhile to be said and more reasonable than what I personally feel Squirt contributes. I think there's a difference between ones openness and honesty bringing about disagreement and discussion vs. someone just being argumentative and accusatory, disagreement and discussion arising not as a product of their thought provoking comments but as a result of their unprofessional, combative and immature behavior.
Again, this is all just my personal opinion. But I think we're all capable of much more worthwhile conversation than what Squirt's so often petty comments inspire.
The way he conducts himself on the boards is what ensures I never have any desire to do business with him. Aware all the while that the way he conducts himself on the boards might just be what endears him to others.
But I've seen him offend, disrespect and inflame to a degree far beyond any value in the inspiration of discussion his posts might bring. In my individual opinion, he needs to grow up. And I'm giving Lee the benefit of the doubt here because I'm coming from the impression Squirt thrives on the creation of drama and making a nuisance of himself.
But hey, that's just one man's stance. He's definitely got strong opinions, and at times those can be a breath of fresh air on the boards. I just feel those particular times are few and far between amidst a lot of wasted 1s and 0s.
Though I will say that making public threads like this can, at the very least be awkward and put the subject of the thread on the defensive in an almost unfair manner because... well... here we all are talking about Squirt.
And that must at the very least be a lil bit wierd for him, or have the potential to be. hehe
So sensitivity to that should always be maintained.
Though he might just totally love the fact that this thread exists, and enjoy the attention greatly. Who knows.
Hell the lil mother fucker annoys the hell out of me too!

when i read that thread, it didn't sound like it was discussion or debate - it was an attempt to accuse someone else of hating. saying you like or support one thing is in NO way saying you hate something else.
claming that someone supporting an australian webmaster means they hate the u.s. or u.s. webmasters is exactly like saying that if i love my son, means i'm against my mom.
at the time, no one had said one fucking word about the u.s. at all. why shouldn't someone support who they want without being accused repeatedly of being anti-american?
I think what the whole thing boils down to is respect. Everyone is allowed to have thier own opinion, and you should all know that I love a good disagreement from time to time. I encourage the members of the clubs I am part of to talk openly about their feelings and feel free to air disagreements as long as they are respectful of the other members' viewpints.
The following is not meant towards any one particular person, but it is something I think we should all think about when posting here (myself included).
We sometimes get in the situation on message boards where something is said not so much out of disagreement but out of spite. We speak with our emotions rather than our logical minds. Sometimes people speak in a joking or saracastic tone, but remember that this can never really be properly translated into the written word, and often comes off as insulting or can be taken the wrong way.
I would simply suggest that while we should all maintain the openess and honesty of GWW that we have come to know and love, we should read any post we make before we post it and refrain from trying to hurt anyone's feelings. If you are posting to voice your point of view, that is fine. If you are posting specifically to hurt someone then you may want to ask why you are posting in the first place. We like to have fun here and joke around, but we are all here for the same reason. If you are just looking to hurt someone, there are other boards for that.

Stepping back from the situation I can see where Lee is coming from. The last announcement thread of a new community sponsor, Mensniche, turned sour ( I had nothing to do with that ) and now the new community sponsor announcement thread for PistolMedia has been hijacked. I love Australia. There are so many good people here. I have many business ties here in, and out of, the adult industry. Being from a country with a (somewhat) strong dollar, some people in countries with a lower conversion rate will see you as a target... that was my point later in that thread.
In closing I'll say that I'm not sure what the guidelines are anymore. Reading the other thread since my last post yesterday, seems a free for all of personal attacks and profanity with no public admonishment, reminds me of GFY. If things were consistent here I'd have a better of idea of what you want me, and others, to do, or not to do.
squirt - everything you just said aside, that thread about the aussie sponsor really was you trying to twist what was said into hate that - after i reread it several times - just wasn't there.
if a new l.a. sponsor pops up and i say "cool! an l.a. sponsor!", that in NO WAY AT ALL means i ONLY support l.a. sponsors, nor does it mean that i am indicating hatred or being "anti" anything.
you turned someone approving of a fellow-countryman to the detriment of none into being "anti-american" even though no anti american sentiment had been expressed.

I think if the man's going to make an issue of himself he deserves to be called out on it.
He was disrespectful in that thread, argumentative, accusatory, combative, petty and a whole host of other unflattering adjectives.
And out of that attempts to patronize the people who took issue with his comments by saying that they're at fault for misinterpreting what he said and that they're the source of the drama he created. He totally tried to pass off accountability for his own comments and lay blame on those he cut in to.
If he wants to make baseless accusations, draw foolish conclusions and incite drama and then attempt to suggest he's not at fault for any of it and he's just lil mr. innocent victim, he's more than entitled to.
But I still think it's a load of crap.
Anyone on here who contributes, is professional, mature and reasonable, I've been more than gracious to in the years I've posted on this board. But I'm also gonna call it as I see it when someone who makes it a point to be difficult is doing just that and then trying to cloak it in being misunderstood.
He's more than welcome to post here while I dislike him, and anyone who so wishes can think I'm a dickhead and dislike me.
But I don't see the hypocrisy in pointing out that a load of crap is, indeed, a load of crap.

I believe there are a few issues that need to be addressed and am happy to address them here as the issues you raised with myself and other posters were raised in an open forum.
1. You took a decision to question my comment that I like to support Australian businesses and I don't have any problem with this whatsoever. Obviously there was a misunderstanding and you read my comments as being anti-American. My comments were not and will never be designed to be hateful to any person based on race, creed, sexuality or country of origin.
2. You now find it hard to understand why when you wrongly label someone as anti-American that the person being attacked responds and others may respond also. I clarified my point of view for yours and others benefit to ensure that you and others more fully understood where I stood on the issue, yet you continued along your anti-american line of posting (at that point most would have realised and stopped - you didn't).
3. I must mention that whilst I have previously done business with most people on this board I never specifically requested any person to comment for or against your views in the thread that you are referring to.
I believe that whilst there may be some truth to this and as I know nothing of your previous business dealings that you missed the point altogether. People came out in support of my views - previous business dealings are what I would refer to as unimportant and unrelated issues.Quote:
